Taste of the Ocean
Kanazawa is known for being a paradise for seafood lovers. Amatsubo restaurant will attest to do this in the finest way.
Its cuisine is typical of the region: local vegetables, fish and shellfish of all kinds are arranged beautifully in an assortment of delicious dishes. The meal can be enjoyed in different ways: order several small dishes like in an izakaya, or full menus for a more luxurious supper. All budgets are thus accommodated in a refined atmosphere and delicate setting. The oden (a type of Japanese stew made from vegetables and battered fish) at Amatsubo are particularly famous and go great with their sake menu. Beautiful colors in the plate are reminiscent of the marine freshness in the air in Kanazawa.
