The cafe connected to the frosty atmosphere
In Japan, themed bars are all the rage. It is fitting therefore to see a cafe with 2000 ice blocks in a city like Furano, located two hours from Sapporo, known for its harsh winters.
Kan Kan Mura, situated opposite the New Furano Prince Hotel, is actually a miniature igloo village composed of a café, a dome, a toboggan run of 200 meters, and many sculptures.
After a day on the slopes of the ski area Furano, nothing like a detour through this fairytale town to relax ... Don't not forget to dress warmly, the temperature can reach -30 degrees.
Price: 300 yen for adults and free for children.
Opening hours: 4 pm to 9 pm every day (8 pm last entrance).
Warning: the site will close in early March with the arrival of spring!
